Windows Presentation Foundation
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is a new framework from Microsoft that
is set to unify and extend a number of existing technology spaces. Its launch is
set to coincide with that of the latest Microsoft operating system, Windows
Vista. Ultimately WPF aims to significantly improve the user experience in both
Windows and Web applications.
Dundas and WPF
In anticipation of WPF, Dundas has undertaken ground-up development of visualization controls tailored to fully exploit the strengths of the WPF platform. In doing this Dundas has maintained its commitment to creating powerful, versatile, user-friendly controls to meet data visualization needs for the Web, Windows, and mobile devices.
The comprehensive choice of visualizations, data binding support, and rich properties featured in our existing controls will be complemented in WPF by a range of further features. Among them, striking transitions and animations, true 3D visualizations (on all platforms), robust styling and templates, and full rich content support.
