Dundas Dashboard: Licensing
We've designed Dundas Dashboard and its licensing model to be simple and provide the flexibility your company needs to get up and running fast, with the knowledge that adding additional users and licenses is easy.
Our floating viewer access licenses (VALs) makes it easy for business to empower employees with full interactive dashboard systems without having to name each and every user individually. Administrators can add additional VALs and designer licenses as requirements grow.
Dundas Dashboard has several different license types designed to best suit
your unique needs:
The Server License
Dundas Dashboard is a server-based solution. For more specific details on the server license and what it covers, contact our sales department.
Dashboard Developer
With admin rights, these users have the ability to change all aspects of dashboard projects and designs, including data preparation, setting up virtual tables, KPI definitions and dashboard design.
Dashboard Designer
These users have the ability to create and modify the design of dashboards (though
they can't modify KPIs or data connections associated with them).
Viewer Access License (VAL)
For those who consume/view the finished dashboard. Dundas Dashboard uses floating/concurrent licenses, so you aren't pinned down in naming all the users who will access the dashboards. All you have to do is determine how many users you need to access the system at any one time. If your demand grows, then simply purchase more licenses. (You also have the option of "locking down" a floating license to a specific viewer to ensure they have 24/7 access to dashboards).
