Dundas Dashboard Data Visualization Controls

Dundas Dashboard Gauge ControlDundas Dashboard Gauge

Gauges visualize dynamic data on an ongoing basis. They also display historic calculations that become a single value, so they offer a complementary function to charts. Gauges are used in nearly every type of dashboard application, especially those in the manufacturing and financial sectors, where KPIs and other critical data are monitored in real time.

Dundas Dashboard Gauge supports both linear and radial (circular) gauge types, as well as a wide variety of appearances and styles. Frames are fully customizable (e.g., semi-circles and quadrant types), while users can change visual-element properties like scales, pointers and ranges, which put context to pointer values, can indicate a particular state as well!

In addition, Dundas Dashboard Gauge's annotation feature allows users to add annotations "on the fly" to individual gauges, facilitating greater dashboard communication and collaboration.

Get the right look for your controls, easily:
Use full circle gauges or customize your own “autoshapes” for 90, 180 degree, etc.
Rounded rectangles in linear/thermometer/bullet graph
Powerful linear/radial color gradients and alpha RGB value functionality
Customizable colors, borders, widths, as well as the placement of scales, pointers and tick marks
Choose from a variety of customizable needle types, marker types and bar types
Customizable font styling and orientation settings for scale labels

Effective interaction between your data and gaugesDundas Dashboard Gauge

Automatic KPI interaction and a comprehensive properties list allow for easy or custom visualizations of your data.
KPI Interaction - your metrics make sense right away because attributes are automatically calculated according to the data specified in your KPI. Attributes include:
Ranges can be dynamically applied to the gauge, based on KPI states
Automatically adjust minimum/maximum values on the scale
Automatic calculation of major/minor tick mark intervals
Dynamic label formatting (display as currency, date/time, etc.)

Comprehensive properties list - you have control over every element in the gauge to get your data visualized exactly the way you need it.
The scale bar can be reversed
Min/Max scale pin markers can be positioned to show when the gauge is off or when a value is out of range.
Support for major and minor tick marks
Customizable scale & label intervals and interval offsets
Add multiple ranges to any scale
Add scale multipliers
Add tooltips to various gauge elements, with keyword support
Integration with the Dundas Dashboard Legend control
