Map Projections & Legends and Scales
Dundas Map for Reporting Services supports 10 geometric and cartographic projections to meet design, space and aesthetic needs - these consist of several of the most widely used projections, including Mercator and Robinson. Projections can be selected at design time or switched dynamically during run time. Parallel and meridian grid lines (as well as map content) automatically adapt whenever the current projection is changed. All projections support automatic and explicit view center specifications.
To further facilitate map comprehension, legends and scales are easily added to maps through the properties browser. Complex legends can be programmatically added giving further informational depth to maps.
