Inside Software Sales Representative (Toronto, ON)
For over a decade, Dundas Software has been a leading firm in the development
of advanced Charting, Diagramming and Data Visualization solutions for Microsoft
Technologies.
Dundas Software is currently looking for an Inside Software Sales
Representative. Working from our Toronto location, the Inside Sales Rep will
assist the sales team in driving revenue by helping to qualify accounts in
targeted markets through telephone prospecting and referral generation. Most
sales will be done over the phone or by email.
Additional requirements include:
- Have a proven track record in software sales with a minimum of 1 year experience
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Have excellent presentation and communication skills with strong written and verbal skills
- Be able to talk with different audiences, appropriately adjust technical content to meet different audience knowledge and interest
- Have no fear of cold calls; must enjoy making them and understand the importance of this form of customer prospecting
- Be able to qualify a sales opportunity
- Position our products against the competition
- Proactively engage in the sales cycles
- Have strong working knowledge of computer software and some technical background
- Be motivated to make a difference, to earn advancement through committed work ethic
- Have previous commission-based sales experience
- Display strong initiative and be a self-starter
- Have experience building relationships with a client contact base
Be able to develop existing business (maintenance subscription
renewals) and prospecting for new business (lead generation)
