1. Overview
A list of highlights from the new features and enhancements available with the release of Dundas BI 7.0.

2. Installation / Deployment
- Deploy Dundas BI on Linux
3. Data Preparation and Analysis
- Improved way to view and manage table relationships and automatic joins
- New Dundas BI assistant to perform analysis tasks using natural language user input
- New Median aggregator and Mode (min) and Mode (max) aggregators to find the highest and lowest values appearing most often in a range of values
- Exclude expanded hierarchy members from formula calculations when using multi-level hierarchies
- The following formulas have been enhanced with new group functions for multiple hierarchy alignment:
- Correlation
- Cumulative Total
- Normal Distribution
- Percent of Total
- Percent Rank
- New icon on certain data cube transforms to indicate when a transform will execute in-memory
- Use the new slicer comparison to compare measures with different filters
- Set query isolation level when using DB2 connector
- Collection placeholders are now supported for R Data Generator and Python Generator data cubes
- The Google Sheets data provider now uses the latest Google API
- Now use raw keys instead of member unique names when setting up custom attributes for single level hierarchies
- Disable data caching for specific data cubes
- Use the search bar to look for data cube input elements
- Usability improvements to the States and Hierarchy Level Sorting Overrides dialog
- New quarter of year, day of month and week of year time dimension attributes
- Rename data cube output elements directly on the Output Elements dialog

- New color scale legend to display the ranges of colors generated by color rules
- New heat map chart type
- New Identify Clusters recommendation for visualizations like scatter plots or bubble charts
- Automatically sort stacked bar charts
- Display slicer values in tooltips and labels
- Hide color rules from the legend when there is no matching data
- Set up rounded borders and round data images

- Use the new Menu component on a dashboard to enable users to navigate through other views easily
- Relative fonts resize on responsive dashboards when viewed on various devices and browser sizes
- New menu layer to allow using better navigation options when designing a dashboard for use in responsive mode
- Pass parameter values between multiple views in the sub-canvas view container
- New data tokens to query the database at runtime
- Set custom permissions for notes
- Add groups as recipients for notifications
- Various improvements to the Dundas BI default theme
6. Administration
- Improved Administration user interface
- Segregate warehouse databases and in-memory storage types by tenant
- Export and import the administration configuration settings
- Admin users can manage CSS, JavaScript, HTML override files and installed extensions from the Administration user interface
- System administrators can promote tokens created by users to global tokens
- Log detailed health check error information
- New health check to find and fix duplicate table relationships
- Select the number of CPU cores that should be used and specify which ones
- Disable/enable tenant to support tenant data migration to/from tenant warehouse database
- New Job Failure Email Throttle Period configuration option to limit job failure emails
