Use datetime hierarchy in state conditions

Contents[Hide]

1. Overview

When setting up metric set states on a measure, you can add state conditions that compare against a datetime hierarchy value. This also works with implicit datetime hierarchies and OLAP date-mapped hierarchies.

For example, you can define a state that selects all OrderQty values between a range of dates.

2. Walkthrough

Create a new metric set with two measures (OrderQty and LineTotal) and a row hierarchy (OrderDate).
