What are Operational Dashboards?


Operational dashboards focus on performance monitoring and measuring - important metrics for any user. This is why they can be found in all departments, but are most common in departments where it's essential to act on critical information quickly (i.e. sales, marketing, etc.).

They contain a set of well-defined business metrics (KPIs and KRIs), updated in real-time, that allow every employee to closely monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations.

These dashboards are typically easier to deploy than an analytical dashboard, as they require less data to create and less training to use.
