Histogram Chart

Sometimes referred to as a frequency diagram, the histogram is the best known member of the family of data distribution graphs. (A frequency distribution graph shows how often each different value in a set of data occurs.) Histogram charts display the number of times a value in a selected column falls within a specified data range. These can be displayed several ways, including using one or two axes to represent distributions.
